What’s the Plot of ‘My Name’ Season 1? SPOILER ALERT!
‘My Name’ follows the story of Yoon Ji-woo, a young woman who is a member of Korea’s biggest drug gang, Dongcheon. To avenge her father’s death, she infiltrates the police as Oh Hye-jin. As noted, the first season wrapped the subject up nicely. He achieved Yoon Ji Woo’s goals. She managed to take revenge on the man responsible for her father’s death. She learned that her father was an undercover police officer trying to infiltrate the gang. Yoon Ji Woo acknowledges and honors the sacrifices he made to overthrow the Dongcheon mafia.
Besides the mystery of his father’s death, Ji Woo also solved the murder of Detective Jeon Pil Do, who was close to him throughout the season. He killed Mujin, the leader of the Dongcheon gang. When it comes to the original story, there are no more loose ends to discover. If the show is renewed for another season, we will likely see Yoon Ji Woo in a new predicament that he has to solve. He could return to the police force and continue working in the narcotics unit again. This brings him closer to Cha Gi Ho, the leader of the DEA crime unit and the only person who knows more about his father.
